Guidehouse is seeking a Data Analyst to support a federal law enforcement agency by delivering data-driven insights, performance reporting, and operational analytics that enhance acquisition and procurement decision-making enterprise-wide. They will partner closely with senior leadership, including executives and branch chiefs, to analyze complex financial and procurement data from systems, develop recurring and ad hoc reports, monitor compliance and performance metrics, and provide actionable recommendations that improve organisational effectiveness.
A successful candidate will leverage advanced analytical tools including Excel, R Script, Visual Basic, Power BI, the Microsoft Power Platform to track procurement workloads, assess acquisition program health, support quality assurance initiatives, and drive continuous process improvement. The Data Analyst must possess a strong background in data analytics, reporting, and data management, with experience translating complex data into meaningful business insights within a federal, procurement, or financial management environment.
You Will Need
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse.
- Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- Three (3) or more years' experience
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support operational and leadership decision-making
- Familiarity with R scripting and VBA for data analysis, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, for data analysis, reporting, and executive briefings
- Experience using SharePoint to manage, organize, and share information across teams
- Knowledge of federal financial and acquisition systems such as UFMS, FPDS, CPARS, SAM, or similar platforms
- Experience analyzing procurement, acquisition, financial, or workforce data to identify trends, measure performance, and support strategic initiatives
- Ability to create executive-level presentations, dashboards, and visualizations that clearly communicate complex data
- Experience developing tracking tools, performance metrics, and reporting solutions to improve operational efficiency and workload management
- Familiarity with supporting senior leaders through data calls, strategic planning efforts, and special projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide recommendations for process improvements and reporting enhancements
- Experience performing ad hoc analysis and responding to leadership requests in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of acquisition, procurement, contracting, or government operations and their associated reporting requirements
