Duties
- You will work closely with DPAE Modernization and Sustainment and interface with DLA, NAVSUP, and Warfare Center (Provisioners, ISEA) personnel to ensure Fleet in-service requirements are achieved in the transition of Frigates to the Fleet.
- You will ensure that ships are being properly logistically supported, coordinating the elements of ILS, outfitting, and acquisition product support management to enable successful ship transfer into the sustainability and in-service phase.
- You will assist in coordinating Crew Move Aboard and test and trial activities, ensuring equipment, personnel, and facilities are properly prepared, trained, and staffed.
- You will co-lead Logistics IPTs to address timely updates to ILS products (Tech Manuals, Provisioning, Operating procedures and PMS) to improve reliability issues.
- You will support the Frigate program in the Navy-wide transition to the Model Based Product Support (MBPS) database.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the
Functional Area
and Tier assigned to the position, along with Continuous Learning (CL) points, are required within established time frames. - This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR .
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band (NH-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing the logistical support or interagency coordination of a program to ensure the improvement of fleet reliability within the Navy.
