Our client, a global technology company, is seeking a Business Operations Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis in Arlington, VA. About the job:
Research, track, and analyze customer, prospect, and subscription data to support pricing decisions and sales operations initiatives. Maintain customer and subscription accounts, ensuring data accuracy and compliance across systems. Support proposal and contract pricing processes by gathering and evaluating relevant business data. Analyze sales credit information and assist with the allocation and tracking of sales performance metrics. Investigate and resolve order processing issues while partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate closely with IT teams to troubleshoot system issues and improve operational workflows. Generate reports and provide analysis to support business decision-making and operational efficiency. Support various sales operations, research, and account maintenance activities in a fast-paced environment.

About you:

Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years of relevant experience. Experience in sales operations, business analysis, research, customer data management, or a related function. Salesforce experience is required. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and work with large data sets. Experience researching and maintaining customer or account information. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business applications. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams. Candidates with sales operations, analytics, or research backgrounds are strongly preferred.
