Supervisory Financial Management Analyst with Security Clearance

Position: SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of organizational programs and administrative operations.
* You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets, internal controls, and provide advice on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds.
* You will be the senior advisor in the budget branch and be responsible for financial management related duties.
* You will monitor changes made by the organization to ensure long range financial management concerns are addressed.
* You will evaluate and justify financial management adjustments through the Programming, Budget and Execution cycles. Requirements Conditions of employment

* You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
* This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
* You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
* This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
* Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR . Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Performing audits on a variety of programs to assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of the programs; performing analysis and evaluation of all aspects of accounting and internal controls..
