POSITION SUMMARY

The Accreditation and Data Analyst will support institutional effectiveness through project management, survey research, accreditation compliance, and peer benchmarking. The role will coordinate data and research requests, communicate with campus stakeholders, and maintain PIE resources. The position will be responsible for managing the institutional survey portfolio, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, supporting program evaluation, and developing dashboards on student and post-graduation outcomes.

The position will also maintain accreditation evidence and required compliance, support accreditation reviews, and produce comparative analyses that inform strategic planning, enrollment management, resource allocation, program development, and continuous improvement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Project Management and Stakeholder Communication – 30% Manages incoming data and research requests submitted to Planning & Institutional Effectiveness (PIE). Document dates requests received and responded to, answer questions to the best of one’s ability, partner with PIE colleagues in answering more complex questions, and provide guidance in prioritizing the variety of projects in PIE. Facilitates professional and kind communication and collaboration among academic, administrative, and technical teams.

    Reviews, updates, and maintains the PIE website. Develop innovative resources and data visualizations to effectively communicate data and information. Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on accreditation, data collection, analysis, and use of results.
  • Survey Research, Analysis, & Presentation — 30% Owns the institutional survey portfolio, including the survey calendar, instrument review, sampling, response-rate strategy, deployment, data quality, redaction, nonresponse analysis, national surveys, integration of survey and administrative data and dissemination of results. Specific internal institutional surveys include:
    Course Evaluations (Watermark CES), Faculty Evaluations (Qualtrics), and the Graduating Student Survey. Develops dashboard that integrates completion, first-destination, employment, earnings, employer, occupational-demand, and graduate education and works to integrate this into academic-program review, program viability, strategic planning, and institutional reporting. Assists units in the designs and evaluations of programs using national and institutional benchmarks, outcomes measures, mixed methods, longitudinal analysis, and cost-effectiveness methods, as appropriate.

    Designs and conducts qualitative institutional research, including interviews, focus groups, open-ended response analysis, case studies, and thematic analysis, to explain patterns identified through institutional data.
