Business Management Analyst

Location: Arlington, Virginia
Schedule: Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. ET
Experience Required: 1–3 years
Fitness Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DHS Suitability/Fitness Determination

Position Overview:

ITSC is seeking a Business Management Analyst to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s council, advisory, and strategic engagement programs. This position will provide administrative, analytical, project coordination,records management, and stakeholder engagement support to CISA councils,committees, working groups, and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple
assignments while producing accurate and timely work products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • - Support the development and maintenance of council charters, bylaws, membership structures, procedural documents, and governance records. Maintain membership rosters, distribution lists, participation records, action-item trackers, inquiry logs, and supporting documentation.
  • - Assist with planning and coordinating council, committee, working-group, and stakeholder meetings.
  • - Coordinate meeting schedules, logistics, registration, materials, attendance tracking, note taking, and follow-up activities.
  • - Prepare agendas, pre-read materials, presentations, meeting summaries, reports, memoranda, and briefing materials.
  • - Track recommendations, decisions, votes, risks, deliverables, and action items through completion.
  • - Coordinate with government personnel and internal and external stakeholders to collect information and support engagement activities.
  • - Conduct research involving critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical security, resilience, emerging risks, policies, and technology trends.
  • - Assist with qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • - Support the development of project schedules, process flows, dashboards, status reports, risk registers, and Plans of Action and Milestones.
  • - Manage designated email accounts, respond to inquiries promptly, and maintain accurate correspondence records.
  • - Organize and maintain files in accordance with federal records-management requirements.
  • - Review documents for accuracy, consistency, grammar, formatting, and compliance with CISA and DHS standards.
  • - Provide general administrative and project support as assigned.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • - One to three years of experience in business analysis, program support, project coordination, administrative support, policy research, government operations, or a related field.
  • - Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable DHS Suitability/Fitness Determination.
  • - Strong organizational, analytical, research, writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • - Experience coordinating meetings, maintaining records, tracking action items, or supporting projects and stakeholders.
  • - Ability to prepare clear and professional reports, presentations, meeting materials, and correspondence.
  • - Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • - Ability to manage competing priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a government-support environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • - Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, public policy, homeland security, cybersecurity, communications, or a related discipline.
  • - Previous experience supporting DHS, CISA, another federal agency, or a government contractor.
