Job Title
Superintendent - Commercial Interiors Projects
Join a well-established commercial interiors general contracting firm, dedicated to delivering high-quality educational facilities in Washington, DC, and the nearby Maryland area. This role focuses on managing interiors projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million, primarily involving schools and higher education projects.
Responsibilities- Manage multiple interiors projects, ensuring successful delivery within budget and time constraints.
- Collaborate with clients, overseeing the completion of RFIs, submittals, and managing all trades (subcontractors).
- Lead field team meetings and facilitate 3-week look-ahead scheduling.
- Report directly to the DC office, contributing to the growth and success of the firm.
- Minimum of 5 years of superintendent experience in commercial interiors projects within the DC market.
- Proficiency in handling RFIs, submittals, and managing subcontractors.
- Strong communication skills, capable of leading client meetings and coordinating with the field team.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in educational facility projects is preferred.
- Ability to grow and develop into leadership roles such as lead superintendent.
This position is on-site 100% of the time, working with a family-run company known for its commitment to employee development and long-term career growth. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, VA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $33.65 - $49.00/hr.
