Description Responsibilities- 1. Preforms safety and health inspections and documents inspections.
- 2. Timely completion and submission of daily, weekly and monthly report.
- 3. Develops and delivers safety and health training, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- 4. Develops Activity Hazard Analysis and Risk Assessments
- 5. Identify hazards and initiate corrective actions
- 6. Ensure job-site compliance with Site Specific Safety Plan, OSHA 1910, OSHA 1926, and EM385-1-1
- 7. Perform accident, incident, and near miss investigations
- 8. Maintains inventory of personal protective equipment and first aid supplies. Issues PPE to employees
- 9. Maintains safety communications, postings, etc.
- 10. Other duties as required.
- Effective verbal, written and oral communication skills
- Competent trainer
- Ability to identify and correct hazards
- OSHA 30-hour or equivalent (OSHA 500 or 510)
- First Aid/CPR/AED training
- Ten years construction safety experience (five years with a college degree)
