Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a Field Management Superintendent will lead the team in recommending approvals or rejections of materials and workmanship as appropriate; monitor labor and safety requirements (assist in reviewing certified payrolls, perform labor standard interviews to determine that labor force is being paid prescribed wage rates, etc.).
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:- Interpret construction documents, codes and technical submissions to verify conformance with contract and regulatory requirements
- Verify conformance of materials and equipment with approved shop drawings / submittals
- Coordinate construction activities with security and building operations departments, including but not limited to access for contractors, OGC vendors, etc. in completion of work under CPFMD projects.
- Assist the quality assurance team QAI's with their day-to-day duties
- Support the QAIs and their work product by providing management and direction in the field for these staff.
- Oversee specialized testing and inspections.
- Monitor work performance and document variations from established schedules
- Assist in the evaluation of change order proposals as needed
- Review payment applications for certification.
- Monitor contractor work progress and practices in line with their approved quality control plans.
- Review and provide feedback on contractor quality control plans and implement with field staff and QAIs
- Ensure quality standards are upheld on all projects with all trades.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS plus four years of relevant or demonstrated equivalency through a combination of education and professional experience.
- Professional certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Certified Professional Constructor (CPC), or Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project tracking systems such as Procore or Primavera P6.
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training and knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Experience managing and mentoring quality assurance inspectors (QAIs) and field teams.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, change order processes, and payment application procedures.
- Experience with specialized testing, inspections, and shop drawing submittals review.
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
- Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $90000 to $100000.
