POLITICO is seeking a Deputy Production Director to lead a portion of our large team of multi-skilled digital producer/copy editors. The deputy works closely with the Editorial Director, Production & Copyediting, and two other deputies to manage day-to-day workflow for POLITICO editorial content for subscriber and consumer audiences. The deputy director participates in hiring and training new producers and is on the lookout for opportunities for their team of early-career journalists to explore their career aspirations within POLITICO.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable and flexible and possesses excellent communication and time management skills.

- Create and update documentation, coordinate meetings and provide project updates
- 2 to 3 years of digital newsroom experience
