The
** Document Specialist Proposals
** is an integral member of our Proposal Development Team. They are responsible for all aspects of desktop publishing, including operating appropriate software and equipment to design, format, and produce proposal documents.
** Document Specialist Proposals Responsibilities:
*** Formats high volume proposals using MS Word ensuring compliance based on the specific Government RFP (Section L) requirements.
* Edits graphics using Adobe Illustrator and incorporates into MS Word master copies.
* Able to use advanced functions in Adobe PDF and MS Word (e.g., creating links, combining multiple files, cropping, sizing, editing, editing Bookmarks in the navigation pane).
* Checks final copies for errors and makes necessary corrections.
* Reviews all RFPs for Section L requirements.
* Available to work late nights and weekends to meet strict delivery deadlines.
* Supports multiple proposals and other tasks simultaneously, taking on a high volume of work while committed to meeting all deadlines.
* Collaborates with coworkers, graphic artists, proposal coordinators, and proposal managers to produce proposals according to design specifications.
* Experience working in SharePoint.

* Required Qualifications:

*** Ten or more years of experience in proposal development.
* Ten or more years of experience using MS Word, including template design, layout, formatting, style guide adherence, and production.
* Advanced proficiency using Adobe Acrobat and MS Word.
* Team player and customer-service oriented.
* Willingness to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently under tight deadlines.
* Excellent organizational skills.

** Basic Compensation:****$112,000-$168,000
** The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate's working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and / or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
** Additional Compensation:
** K  may offer bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.#PV2
