Capital Life Church is seeking a passionate and gifted Worship Pastor to join our ministry team. We are a non-denominational, Spirit-filled church in Arlington, VA, committed to helping people encounter God, grow in their faith, and discover their purpose.
We are looking for a worship leader who has a heart for God’s presence, a passion for developing people, and a desire to build a thriving worship ministry. The Worship Pastor will provide leadership and vision for our worship team, lead weekly worship experiences, disciple team members, and cultivate a culture of authenticity, excellence, prayer, and spiritual growth.
This role will oversee all aspects of the worship ministry, including recruiting and developing musicians and vocalists, planning worship sets, leading rehearsals, and partnering with pastoral leadership to support the overall vision of Capital Life Church. The Worship Pastor will also provide oversight for worship-related media needs, including livestream and digital content that supports the ministry.
Responsibilities- Lead weekly worship services with excellence, authenticity, and spiritual sensitivity
- Provide vision and direction for the worship ministry
- Recruit, train, mentor, and disciple worship team members and volunteers
- Plan worship sets and lead rehearsals
- Develop a healthy team culture centered on worship, prayer, and community
- Identify and develop emerging worship leaders and musicians
- Collaborate with pastoral leadership and ministry teams
- Provide oversight for livestream and worship media needs
- Has experience leading worship in a church setting
- Has strong vocal and musical leadership skills
- Loves building teams and investing in people
- Is spiritually mature and passionate about leading others into God’s presence
- Is organized, creative, and able to work collaboratively
- Has experience with worship technology and media platforms
