Mayer Smile Be Bright is currently accepting applications for a patient-centered clinical technician to join their supportive, genuinely caring team in a beautiful new office offering the latest dental specialty procedures and technologies such as moderate sedation, CBCT, and digital scanning. Part-Time to Full-Time position We are looking for an energetic, trustworthy, thoughtful team member to assist our caring owner clinician.

Dental Technician

Ideal candidate responsibilities and qualifications:

• Prior dental assisting experience of 2+ years required
• Post-secondary certificate from an accredited dental assistant program preferred
• Dental radiology and CPR certifications (list all others on your application)
• Self-starter, dedicated, friendly, motivated, problem-solving, detail-oriented, computer literate, dexterous, multi-tasker, trustworthy
• Willing to be coached and adaptable to evolving practice modalities
• Good understanding of dental procedures, dental anatomy, and procedural set ups and protocols
• Capable and willing to manage one pediatric patient column with preventative and diagnostic procedures, confirm equipment and set up supplies per procedure, and think ahead to ready materials for scheduled patient procedures
• Must be able to move and care for pediatric and adult patients standing or sitting for prolonged periods and able to lift 45 pounds if needed.
• Chairside verbal proficiency with patient advocacy and treatment acceptance
• Sterilize instruments, set up, and disinfect operatories
• Lab work example: (fabricate retainers and work with digital dentistry)
• Chart existing treatment and proposed treatment plans
• Procedural knowledge of preventive and diagnostic visits
• Skillset to complete sealants
• Fluent in English;
  Spanish or other languages encouraged and a plus.

full-time $19 - $26 per hour
