Dental Front Desk Coordinator in Arlington, Virginia
Frontline Source Group is hiring a full-time Dental Front Desk Coordinator on behalf of a private dental practice in Arlington, Virginia. This is a patient-facing role in a brand new, modern facility, perfect for a friendly, organized professional who enjoys being the welcoming face of a practice. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, 30 to 40 hours per week, with no evenings and no weekends.

Our client built their Arlington office to deliver an outstanding patient experience from the very first hello. You will work directly with an owner-clinician in a brand-new facility with current dental technology.

- Greet and check in patients, creating a warm and welcoming first impression
- Schedule and confirm appointments, manage the daily calendar, and coordinate patient flow
- Answer phones, respond to patient questions, and handle appointment requests
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, and assist with claims submission and follow-up
- Collect copays and patient balances, and process payments at check-out
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management software
- Keep the front office organized and stocked with everyday supplies
- Support billing and insurance follow-up as needed
- Communicate clearly with clinical staff to keep the schedule running smoothly
- 3+ or more years of dental front office experience
- Experience with patient check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification
- Familiarity with dental insurance, billing, and claims basics
- Proficiency with dental practice management software
- Understanding of HIPAA and front office confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
