Overview
As a Project Architect on our team in Arlington, VA you’ll be responsible for managing projects for interior environments that enhance organizational performance and achieve the client’s business objectives utilizing best practices.
Responsibilities- Ensure the overall design intent of the project established by the Project Designer is incorporated into detailed documentation.
- Monitor the design process from conceptual phase through construction administration, ensuring consistency and proper execution.
- Provide technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of the project.
- Work with the project specification writer to develop specifications and coordinate drawings and specifications.
- Check completed reports, plans, estimates, and calculations for accuracy.
- Implement the overall strategy for producing documents and organize sheets planned for each stage of the work, including defining how data will be organized into files and which elements will be incorporated in a Building Information Model (BIM).
- Work with BIM Manager to define and set up project team software parameters and manage project standards with the BIM Lead.
- Foster and maintain a collaborative professional working relationship with the entire Project Team.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent education or experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of architectural experience.
- Licensed Architect with current registration.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer‑supplier appropriateness.
- Knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
- NCARB registration.
- LEED AP.
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
- Knowledge of QA/QC process.
- Knowledge of building codes and ability to research and apply/incorporate into technical documents.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch Up, Enscape and InDesign graphic software preferred. Other graphic tools and knowledge encouraged.

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
