Job DescriptionSeeking an Assistant Teacher who engages well with preschool age children in afternoon activities in the classroom, gym play, and outdoor play.
Responsibilities- Help to establish a faith-filled, positive, structured and creative preschool classroom.
- Follow state licensing guidelines including maintaining an accurate student count and keeping all children within sight and sound.
- Arrive to school at 12:00 pm, Mon-Fri.
- Coach the children in their play/interactions throughout the day rather than “supervising” and then intervening.
- Assist the Lead Teacher.
- Maintain awareness of allergies within the classroom.
- Clean tables before and after the children eat.
- Attend preschool/school staff meetings as required.
- Additional responsibilities as determined by the director.
- Limited Part-Time: 19.5 hrs. a week (Monday-Friday 12:00-3:30, and able to stay until 5:30 1 day a week).
Position Type: Part-Time
Salary: $19 to $19 Per Hour
