Instructional Aide - Arlington, VA

Make an immediate and meaningful impact working directly with students as a valued paraprofessional in a dynamic, supportive school environment near Arlington, VA. With several opportunities available, you'll provide essential educational and behavioral support to students ages 5 through 22 in a year-round program. This onsite role offers the chance to collaborate with skilled educators, make a difference in students' daily experience, and build lasting professional relationships.

Your skills and dedication will help create an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere every day. Positions are available to start as soon as possible, running through July 3, 2025.

Desired Experience &

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children, teens, or young adults in an educational or care setting
• Familiarity with assisting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills
• Ability to follow teacher direction and adapt to classroom routines
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit through July 2025
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist educators in delivering instruction and implementing individualized programs
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups to help with assignments and social skills
• Reinforce positive behaviors and encourage classroom engagement
• Help with routines, activities, and transitions throughout the school day
• Support the safety and well-being of students
• Document and report student progress as needed
