APS is seeking qualified candidates to fill Tutoring positions
Education and Experience minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in a field related to tutoring or the delivery of instruction to a group of students in an education or child enrichment setting.
1. Have completed at least 45 college credits or
2. Be a current or retired licensed teacher
Non-licensed tutors will be required to complete the ALL IN Tutoring online training that will be available on the ALL IN Tutoring website.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Salary Knowledge of the rules, strategies, and best practices of tutoring.
Responsibilities
Prepares and tutors lessons in math and/or reading that range in length for small groups of students (grades 3 –
8). Responsible for monitoring student progress, and communicating with school staff and families and participating in professional learning and training. This position reports to the school administrator (principal or designee).
Salary
Current or retired licensed teacher: $50.28 per hour based upon 25/26 pay plan.
Other/Non-Licensed hires: $35.53 per hour based upon 25/26 pay plan.
