Senior Training & Development Specialist

Full Time | Arlington, VA | Secret Clearance required

Steel Gate LLC is seeking a Senior Training & Development Specialist to develop and deliver onboarding materials, training content, job aids, and user support documentation for a mission focused collaboration platform. This role supports user readiness, training delivery, and instructional content development.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in education, Instructional Design, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum of eight years developing and delivering training for Federal or mission focused environments
Minimum of eight years of technical writing experience
Knowledge of DHS Trusted Tester methodology and Section 508/WCAG 2.0 AA compliance requirements.
Experience delivering virtual and in person training
Experience producing training metrics reports

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Instructional design and adult learning principles
Development of multimedia training content
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear instructional materials
Strong technical writing skills
Strong facilitation skills for virtual and in person training

Job Types: Full-Time

Salary: $80k-$90k
