We are looking for a Procore‑trained Super User with extensive experience supporting infrastructure design and construction projects—including transit and transportation—to support our rail/transit client. The Procore Project Controls Specialist will lead efforts tracking and reporting on the status of the Procore Project Portfolio and closeout progress, and will provide on‑call support to the Procore Admin Team. This position is based at the client’s offices in Alexandria, Virginia.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Prepare and analyze master project/program schedule, baseline schedules, progress schedules, specialty schedules, schedule analysis, and project progress reporting.
- Develop cost estimates (conceptual, change order, etc.), create cost report templates, and issue budget/cost and change management reports.
- Oversee and maintain the project management control system and/or document control system, as applicable.
- Establish and maintain project controls procedures for projects, including cost estimating, budgeting, scheduling, document control, reporting, risk management, and claims analysis.
- Assess cost and schedule impacts of design/construction changes, recommend recovery plans, and communicate deviations, risks, and trends to project leadership.
- Develop and produce reports for clients and project management to monitor progress and status of the project.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 6 years of relevant experience.
- Or, in lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience or 6 years of direct contractor experience.
- Experience in categorizing archive requirements and closing out inactive legacy Procore projects.
- Coordination with the Office of Design and Configuration Management for document archiving.
- Tracking and reporting on Procore project portfolio and closeout progress.
- Providing on‑call support to the Procore Admin Team.
- Developing checklists, job aids, SOPs, and training materials for closeout procedures.
- Procore‑trained Super User with extensive experience in infrastructure design and construction.
- 10 years of experience in project controls, document management, and process improvement within large‑scale public agency environments.
- Expertise in project closeout, archiving, and document control procedures.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
- Skill in developing and implementing SOPs and training materials.
- Experience in at least three phases of the project lifecycle (e.g., pre‑design, design, procurement, construction, post‑construction).
- Experience as a client’s PM/CM agent or part of a design‑build contractor.
- One or more AACE certifications (PSP, EVP, CCP, CEP, DRMP).

Pay RangeWashington, DC: $ - $ (nation‑wide: $95,991.51 - $). Compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, and location.
