This is a one-year, full-time, paid Internship Program.
The Transportation, Engineering & Operations (TE&O) Bureau within the Department of Environmental Services (DES) is seeking a motivated Data & Operations Intern to support the County’s Vision Zero and transportation safety initiatives. The intern will assist with transportation data collection, field work, safety studies, operational reviews, and public engagement efforts. This internship provides hands‑on experience using data, analysis, and field observations to support traffic safety strategies, evaluate safety countermeasures, and contribute to Arlington County’s goal of eliminating serious and fatal roadway crashes.
