The Boeing Commercial Airplanes Liaison Engineering Organization is seeking a proactive consultant to support operations in Everett, Seattle, Auburn, or Renton, Washington. The role requires prompt engineering decisions and hands‑on presence in the factory.

• Analyze, conduct root cause analysis, and develop dispositions for production non‑conformances.
• Apply Boeing design principles to assess and resolve product/process issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Research technical, operational, and quality issues to execute final engineering solutions.
• Identify and analyze reported problems, communicate deviations that could impact design intent and safety, and recommend and manage resolutions.
• Develop and implement product/process improvements.
• Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participate in design reviews.
• Represent the engineering community from initial build through production and post‑production activities.
• Ensure supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards.
• Develop customer correspondence to maintain safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Participate in on‑site disabled product repair teams, accident investigation, and support teams.
• Analyze damage repair or structural modification to determine appropriate jacking, shoring, prevent collateral damage, and assure a safe work environment.
• Design interim structural repairs and conduct static strength analysis.
• Develop non‑destructive test procedures, tools, and standards.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s of Science Degree in Engineering from an ABET or equivalent accredited program.
• 14+ years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering.

• Hands‑on experience with materials and manufacturing processes.
• Prior BCA Engineering Material Review Board (MRB) Certification.

Successful candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.

Base pay ranges for Expert (Level 5) are $165,750 – $224,250. Boeing also offers health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement plans, life and disability insurance, and paid/unpaid time away from work.
