B52 Manufacturing Engineer (Associate and Experienced)
Company: Boeing Aerospace Operations.
San Antonio Engineering team is seeking a B52 Manufacturing Engineer to support B-52 CERP on 2nd shift, but flexible with some 1st shift support.
Supports various military, surveillance and bomber programs at the San Antonio site.
Primary Responsibilities- Knowledge of parts, materials and processes related to structures and mechanical systems. Understand machining processes, CNC requirements, and fastener installations.
- Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
- Knowledge of manufacturing planning systems and ship-side installation support preferred.
- Develop and maintain program architecture for builds and identify conceptual designs.
- Lead and implement manufacturing plans and non-conformance plans.
- Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
- Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and document best practices.
- Resolve significant technical problems impacting performance, cost or schedule.
- Coordinate with new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
- Validate production readiness of solutions to complex problems and implement lean principles and technologies.
- Work with Industrial Engineering and IPT to sequence and integrate systems hardware installations with modification plans.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
- 2+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- 2+ years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, working successfully in teams to solve technical issues.
- 5 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1+ year aircraft or similar maintenance knowledge.
- 1+ year shipside experience supporting operations and quality.
- 1+ year experience with IVT.
- Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Experience with CATIA.
- Experience with Gold Esp.
- Location:
Onsite in San Antonio; requires 100% onsite presence. - Shift: 2nd shift, with some 1st shift support.
- Security Clearance:
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret) and U.S. citizenship required. - Relocation:
No relocation assistance; candidate must relocate at own expense. - Drug Free Workplace:
Employees are subject to drug testing as required by policy. - Export Control:
Must meet U.S. export control compliance; U.S. Person required. - Not a Safety Sensitive Position; no visa sponsorship.

Associate $85,000 – $115,000. Experienced $103,700 – $140,300.
