Product & Service Quality Manager

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a First-Line Product & Services Quality Manager (Level K) to support the 777X Quality Program Operations Team onsite in Everett, WA
. This position is available for 1st shift
.

The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional who works well across diverse groups, effectively collaborates across organizational boundaries, and uses data and analysis to drive decisions. They should be able to lead quality team members in implementing key initiatives such as One Boeing Production System, Defect Reduction, and Lean Manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities
  • Manage employees who evaluate and ensure that products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations.
  • Develop and execute business plans, policies and procedures and develop organizational and technical strategies to improve performance.
  • Provide education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • May make airworthiness determinations on behalf of the company and regulatory agencies.
  • Acquire and manage resources and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports.
  • Manage, develop and motivate employees.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in a production-related discipline such as Manufacturing, Quality, Tooling, Engineering, Supplier Management, and/or Supplier Quality.
  • 3+ years of experience working with and supporting a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams or projects formally or informally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • 5+ years of experience working with AS9100 and/or similar QMS.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and systematic problem solving.
  • Experience working in planning.
  • Experience working with tooling operations.

Summary pay range: $119,850 - $162,150
