Flight Test Conductor (Lead or Senior)
The Boeing Test & Evaluation organization has an exciting opening for a Flight Test Conductor for the T‑7A program located at Edwards AFB, CA. The test conductor will lead flight test program planning and execution, covering many aspects of flight sciences and mission systems.
Position Responsibilities- Supports the development and verification of test methods
- Develops detailed test procedures, instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan
- Performs detailed planning and execution of aircraft ground and flight test
- Reviews test data, including off‑nominal data, for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer
- Prepares and publishes test reports to document test results and satisfy requirements
- Presents test results internally
- Archives data and reports
- Trains/Guides junior test conductors with their career development in flight test
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non‑US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 5+ years of experience with the principles of flight test or experience directly supporting flight test operations
- 5+ years of experience in planning and conducting system level lab, ground, or flight testing
- 100+ hours of control room experience as a Test Conductor
- Level 5: 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of experience performing tactical aircraft flight testing (planning and/or executing)
- 5+ years of experience directly interfacing with customers and senior program leadership
- 5+ years of experience developing detailed test points from system level specification requirements, test planning, execution and reporting test results

Summary Pay Range for Lead level (Level
4): $135,150 – $182,850
Summary Pay Range for Senior level (Level
5): $165,750 – $224,250
This role is primarily first shift; however, there may be additional shift requirements to support program objectives.

Security ClearanceThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre‑Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post‑Start is required.
Export Control RequirementThis position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. The position requires a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62.
