Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Participate in planning-level aviation assignments

* Perform electrical engineering design including computer modeling, calculations, and reporting

* Prepare specifications and perform plan set production for airfield projects

* Coordinate and collaborate with other aviation design professionals and disciplines as part of a cohesive design team

* Perform bid-phase and construction-phase services such as answering requests for information, preparing design clarifications, reviewing shop drawings, and submittals

* Attend site visits to perform engineering services to include construction quality, acceptance testing and construction management activities

* Attend and participate in design team and client meetings

* Attend industry-level training and collaboration events

Here's what you'll need

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

* Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills

* Registered Professional Engineer

* Airfield lighting and power distribution experience

* Computer-Aided Drafting and Engineering (CAD/CAE) knowledge

* United States Citizenship

Ideally, you'll also have

* A passion for aviation

* Unified Facility Criteria and Unified Facility Guide Specification experience

* Familiarity or experience with design and analysis software such as SKM, AGi
32, Revit, and ArcGIS

The base salary range for this position is $97,700.00 to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
