OverviewAs an Electrical Commissioning Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing commissioning procedures for large-scale electrical projects. Your expertise will help guarantee the successful startup, testing, and validation of electrical systems in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Develop detailed commissioning plans, procedures, and checklists aligned with project specifications.
- Lead and supervise electrical commissioning activities onsite, working closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams.
- Conduct troubleshooting, testing, and validation of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices during all commissioning stages.
- Document commissioning results, deficiencies, and any modifications required.
- Provide technical support and training to operations personnel post-commissioning.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project timelines are met.
- Proven experience in electrical commissioning for power plants, industrial facilities, or large-scale electrical projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and team leadership abilities.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical engineering or related fields are preferred.
- Competitive hourly rate of $70 to $80 per hour
