Position OverviewWe are looking for a Supplier Program Management professional to join our Supply Chain team in Bangalore, India. The role supports program management and execution of Boeing Statements of Work across all three business units, collaborating closely with Procurement Agents and cross‑functional stakeholders. The position involves managing pre‑ and post‑award activities such as supplier development, work transfer support, supplier performance management, and contract execution.
PositionResponsibilities
Lead capabilities/feasibility assessments for Statements of Work across commodities by evaluating manufacturing processes, special processes, testing capabilities, leading to supplier recommendation and onboarding.
Develop technical assessments for commodities by understanding manufacturing processes and identifying gaps at suppliers based on technical inputs.
Participate in technical audits and requirement consumption reviews to identify and onboard suppliers.
Hands‑on experience in aircraft parts manufacturing and processes (structures & structural assemblies, industry standards products, fabrication, machined/sheet metal parts and assemblies, non‑metallic and composite parts). Preferred knowledge of special processes.
Experience with new product introduction, FAI, product and process qualification in aerospace.
Experience in fabrication of titanium, aluminum, stainless steel and Inconel products.
Knowledge of 3D models, 2D drawings, and material specifications.
Understanding of statistical analysis, process automation, IoT/digital manufacturing techniques, AI/ML, Industry 4.0.
Experience with NADACP audits/approvals and QPL/QLM processes.
Hands‑on experience in destructive and non‑destructive testing and metrology (CMM, Laser Tracker) and strong understanding of GD&T.
Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes, composite structures, and composite material systems.
Knowledge of interior part manufacturing processes (composites, plastic, elastomeric systems).
Experience with supplier capability assessment, technical reviews, gap analysis, and driving supplier development initiatives, coaching and mentoring of suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance‑to‑plan to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and report status to procurement agents and stakeholders.
Communicate across functions (procurement, suppliers, program stakeholders, supplier quality, engineering, others) to report status and concerns.
Participate in on‑site supplier assessments (rate readiness, capacity assessment, PRA & PMR).
Compile and analyze supplier performance data, review key risk indicators, develop mitigation plans, and elevate issues for resolution.
Identify training needs in business and manufacturing practices to improve supplier quality and delivery performance.
Consolidate data, prepare reports and presentations in support of program management reviews, and present supplier performance improvement recommendations.
Lead or support quality and process excellence initiatives such as APQP, Kaizen, Fishbone Analysis, 8D, A3.
Create collaborative partnerships with suppliers and Supplier Management to develop risk, issue and opportunity plans, supplier recovery plans and production planning.
