Overview:
The Facility Operations Center (FOC) is responsible for 24x7 monitoring of data center infrastructure. The FOC Manager leads the team, ensuring peak efficiency through process auditing, training, drill execution, reporting, and operational excellence.

• Oversee daily monitoring platform operations.
• Understand scope and impact of planned work and expected alarms.
• Serve as escalation point for FOC engineers and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Perform alarm analysis and trending during planned and unplanned activities.
• Complete audits of planned and emergency work.
• Provide consistent training and guidance to FOC engineers.
• Refine existing processes and create new standard processes for FOC engineers and team leads.
• Communicate complex technical information to non‑technical audiences.
• Analyze alarms and collaborate with partner teams to identify efficiencies and patterns.
• Drive moderate to high complexity projects.
• Conduct region, building, or design‑specific drills and identify growth opportunities.
• Establish performance benchmarks and conduct audits to drive effectiveness.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for data center infrastructure.
• Support 24/7 FOC operations outside normal business hours.
• Travel as required.

• 5+ years of people management and team development experience.
• 5+ years of engineering work managing large‑scale services.
• Knowledge of critical data center electrical and mechanical systems (e.g., feeders, transformers, generators, switch gear, UPS, ATS, PDU, chillers, pumps, AHUs, CRAC units).
• 5+ years of root cause analysis and troubleshooting or problem‑solving experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience maintaining SLAs through proactive issue detection and reporting.
• Experience operating a mission‑critical team or product.
• 5+ years in a management position with 5 or more direct reports.
• Knowledge of data center design and operations.
