Air Power Defense Portfolio Director
Serve as an Executive to advance our rapidly growing Air Power business, encompassing mission-focused technology that brings speed to outcomes. Expand Booz Allen’s position as a leader in the Air Force market space by strengthening client engagements, participating in industry forums, events, symposiums, and engaging in publishing and speaking opportunities. Build the Booz Allen brand as an advanced technology company that informs senior Air Force clients about emerging solutions to accelerate readiness.
Track Air Force requirements, provide market intelligence, and enhance education on strategy, requirements, and budgeting. Provide leadership to next-level leaders supporting the broader Aerospace, Global Defense, and National Security strategy agenda through reviewing and recommending adjustments to business and contract portfolio, capabilities, and talent. Ensure quality delivery across all aspects of the business portfolio, including operations, growth strategy, and technical delivery.
- Advance the Air Power business and strengthen client engagements.
- Participate in industry forums, events, symposiums, publishing, and speaking engagements.
- Build Booz Allen’s brand as an advanced technology company for senior Air Force clients.
- Track Air Force requirements and provide market intelligence.
- Provide leadership to next-level leaders and recommend adjustments to business and contract portfolio, capabilities, and talent.
- Ensure quality delivery across operations, growth strategy, and technical delivery.
- 15+ years of experience leading Air Force operational missions, R&D, acquisition, and test functions across Air Force or Navy programs.
- 5+ years of experience delivering executive leadership and oversight for aviation systems or services programs and organizations.
- Experience with current aviation technology trends, including AI, electronic warfare, hypersonic, digital engineering, autonomous and unmanned, supply chain, and advanced data analytics.
- Experience managing a portfolio of clients and programs and developing people.
- Ability to analyze current needs and identify viable business development opportunities in the Air Force and broader DoD market space.
- Top Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Business development experience with established relationships in the Washington Metro Area.
- Experience with Air Force organizations, including R&D, HQ Air Force, major commands, and combatant commands.
- Master’s degree.
Salary range: $ to $ annualized USD. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs. The posting will close 90 days from the posting date.
