SATCOM PNT System Engineer
We’re looking for a systems engineer to blend technical expertise with big-picture thinking to advance the space security cooperation mission. The successful candidate will translate real-world needs into technical specifications and play an integral role in delivering a customer-focused engineering solution for the U.S. Space Force Satellite Communication (SATCOM) and Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) mission area within the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) enterprise.
Responsibilities- Coordinate with stakeholders to support the technology release and foreign disclosure (TRFD) process and ensure compliance with Air Force Policy Directive (AFPD) 16-1.
- Develop and deliver high-quality written products and briefings to executive-level leadership, including SES and GO, reporting programmatic milestones.
- Provide technical expertise to integrate SATCOM and PNT mission areas into the FMS enterprise, enabling export to international partners.
- 6+ years of experience with space operations.
- 3+ years of experience in the SATCOM/PNT mission area.
- Knowledge of the acquisition lifecycle and FMS policies, processes, and stakeholders.
- Proficient with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and ability to communicate at the executive level.
- Top Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Experience with TRFD policy and processes.
- Familiarity with MS Power Apps and Power BI.
- TS/SCI clearance (not required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $ (annualized USD). Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for Booz Allen’s benefit programs.
