Job Description Your Role Here’s what you will be doing:
• Perform uncomplicated designs of piping, controls, and equipment selection for Plumbing/Fire Protection systems under supervision; assist with HVAC designs as needed.
• Assist in Revit/BIM modeling of plumbing and fire protection construction drawings from schematic design to construction administration phases; perform HVAC Revit/BIM modeling as necessary.
• Assist and coordinate with specifications as a member of the design team.
• Write draft reports for review by a senior engineer.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents.
• Conduct job site visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, including physical walk-throughs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You The company is looking for:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering required by hire date; degree from an ABET accredited program preferred.
• Knowledge and ability to apply principles of advanced heat transfer, solar energy, and advanced fluid dynamics in plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC system design.
• Related student internship experience preferred.
• EIT and LEED accreditation preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Experience with engineering design software such as Revit, Trane Trace, or Trane 3D Plus preferred.
