Are you an innovative leader that wants to design the next generation of world‑class fulfillment centers and logistics systems across the globe? We’re looking to add a handful of high‑impact engineers to our team. In this role you will collaborate with internal and external teams to design high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions for our fulfillment and distribution systems. You will own multiple projects simultaneously, from concept realization through design approval. You will be the suppliers’ primary technical point of contact for your projects. After design approval, you will hand off the project to our Operations Engineering team for installation, commissioning, and launch, and you will support that team to ensure successful implementation.
Your projects may include green‑fields, brown‑fields, and retrofits, including highly automated fulfillment centers, cross‑dock facilities, and transportation centers. They will range from template‑based to designed‑from‑scratch.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design efficient, cost‑effective fulfillment and distribution solutions.
- Own and manage multiple engineering design projects from concept to approval.
- Serve as the primary technical contact with suppliers.
- Coordinate hand‑off of completed designs to Operations Engineering for installation, commissioning, and launch.
- Support installation teams to validate system performance.

- 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a foreign equivalent
- Experience managing engineering design projects
- Experience using business or technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software
- 5+ years of specialty experience with progressive responsibility
- Knowledge of system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, electronic system design, and decision making
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and high‑speed manufacturing systems
- Experience with design‑in‑safety
Base salary range: USA, VA, Arlington $ – $ annually. USA, WA, Bellevue $ – $ annually.
