Description As a Land Development Project Engineer, you’ll work with team members on the development and production of projects from initial concept through construction administration. From large-scale residential developments to mixed-use commercial complexes and educational facilities, our diverse portfolio allows for accelerated learning and provides a well-rounded experience.
- Assist the Project Manager, other senior staff, and team with the development and production of projects from initial concept through construction administration
- Assist in all aspects of the design effort, including, but not limited to:
- Rezoning & Entitlement Applications, Preliminary Plans, and Site & Subdivision Plans
- Open and closed storm drainage systems, including stormwater management
- Water and Sanitary Sewer system design
- Compliance with zoning ordinances, proffers, and applicable facility standards
- Erosion and sediment control plans and design E&S control measures in accordance with state criteria
- Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD using Carlson Design software
- Develop a working knowledge of VDOT, state, and local standards, policies, and procedures
- Remain current with Local, State & Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance

Requirements
- Experience in site/civil services
- A Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
- Exemplary teamwork, interpersonal, and project management skills
