About the Team
The Maritime Domain Applications (MDA) Group is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer to develop advanced sensing conceptsutilizingadaptive radar signal processing, resource management, and advanced radar algorithm development, as well as executing advanced sensor concept demonstrations.
The Role:
A successful candidate will have working knowledge in one or more of the following areas: advanced signal processing, radar systems, RF remote sensing, or resource management; or a strong background in a foundational field for these areas (i.e. – mathematics, physics, etc.).Additional desired skillsets would be the application of AI/ML principals into advanced signal processing algorithms. This position requires skills working as part of multi-disciplinary teams designing and analyzing signal processing algorithms for complex systems.
Strong technical, interpersonal, communication, and technical leadership skills are desired.
Whatyou willdo:
- Develop system concepts and signal processing algorithms for remote sensing
- Work as part of a small, focused team to architect, develop, implement, and test RF signal processing systems
- Modeling and Simulation of advanced RF systems, new sensing paradigms, and multi-function RF concepts
Whoyou are:
- Active Secret security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed bytheU.S. Government
- BS with 5+ years of experience, MS with 3+ years of experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- Proficiency in MATLAB and/or Python as well as other higher-level languages
- Strong Mathematical, troubleshooting, written, and verbal communication skills
Even Better:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Experience with advanced RF system concepts, multi-dimensional signal processing, waveform design, system optimization, or multi-function phased array apertures
- Experience with algorithm optimization for real time systems, especially radar or remote sensing
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $139,000 - $170,000
