FSRM Program Engineer
The Opportunity As a facilities professional, you understand that relationship‑building and keen attention to detail is crucial when overseeing the life cycle of engineering and infrastructure projects. We need an experienced facilities project manager who can help ensure success through careful analysis, structured documentation oversight, and effective communication. On our team, you’ll help manage and support Facilities Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM)‑related engineering and planning activities from beginning to end while collaborating with senior leadership.
You’ll assist with organizing engineering submissions, validating documentation completeness, identifying discrepancies, and tracking requirements that support sustainment, restoration, and modernization efforts. You’ll help ensure documentation packages, coordination summaries, and requirement materials remain accurate, mission‑aligned, and ready for Government review. In this role, you’ll closely impact installation management by supporting FSRM planning and project coordination activities, validating facility requirements, and helping integrate engineering inputs across headquarters, regional commands, and Public Works.
By contributing to engineering documentation and supporting facilities project workflows, you’ll help advance infrastructure sustainment, restoration and modernization across the enterprise. Have:
Knowledge of facility engineering principles, building system performance, or installation sustainment practices
Ability to interpret engineering inputs, technical reports and drawings, field conditions, or planning information and incorporate them into structured summaries for leadership review
Ability to coordinate with stakeholders to support gathering and tracking of schedule, requirements, facility lifecycle workflows or technical review preparation
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience supporting facilities engineering, facility lifecycle workflows, infrastructure analysis, or engineering support activities, or Master’s degree and 2+ years of experience supporting facilities engineering, facility lifecycle workflows, infrastructure analysis, or engineering support activities
Nice If You Have:Experience contributing to engineering inputs supporting facilities sustainment, restoration or modernization activities
Experience preparing early programming artifacts, such as DD1391s or Congressional Notifications, or supporting resource prioritization activities, such as POM Issue Papers or Project Justification Packages
Experience using iNFADS, FI Web, PAX, AMS, PBIS, or DAI for facility visibility, repair prioritization, or planning integration
Experience with PPBE programming materials, POM inputs, PBIS/DAI financial summaries, or PAX/AMS project artifacts
Knowledge of UFC criteria, IBCs, facility design standards and requirements, or engineering review workflows
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or Construction Management preferred;
Master’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or Construction Management a plus PE, RA, PMP, or CFM certification
