Senior Revenue Accountant

Arlington, VA – In office, Monday – Friday

• Assist in the global monthly revenue close process, including analysis of accounts receivable and preparation of allowance for credit losses.
• Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses related to monthly results.
• Collaborate with Finance Planning and Analysis, Billings, Cash Collections, and Revenue Service teams to assist in the monthly close process and understand fluctuations from budget and forecast.
• Research technical accounting issues.
• Work with external auditors and facilitate review of the close process, account reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Ensure timely monthly close and accurate monthly results.
• Assist in aspects of the Enterprise Resource Planning system implementation and special cross‑functional projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited, not‑for‑profit, in‑person college/university.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience, including 3+ years accounting experience in a large international public company and/or Big 4 accounting firm.
• Experience preparing or reviewing monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process implementation experience.
• Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• General knowledge of GAAP guidelines and ability to apply them to a variety of situations.
• Familiarity with systems and optimizing use of systems to generate data for analysis.
• Strong Excel skills.

• CPA or CPA candidate.
• Experience with Oracle ERP.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of ASC 606.
