POLITICO is looking for an eager and driven intern to join our Finance team. The intern will support our Accounts Receivable and Billing teams in a fast‑paced environment.
What you'll do- Support AR collection efforts by following up via email with clients to ensure subscription payments are collected.
- Develop a report to track and communicate collections status weekly to leadership.
- Review contacts for standard wording and provide feedback.
- Work with the Sales team on requests and data deliverables.
- Utilize AI to improve collections efforts and customer communications.
- Assist the Accounts Receivable team with ongoing business requests.
- Support overall Accounting functions with ad‑hoc requests.
- Complete ongoing administrative office tasks.
- College student pursuing a degree in accounting, business or finance.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Willingness to learn.
- Enjoys a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to work independently.
