PPBE Subject Matter Expert

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) SME to join our team. This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days a week onsite in Arlington, Virginia.

We have a unique opportunity for an Air Force Financial Management SME to join our tightly knit team supporting the Air Force in the implementation and deployment of a CPM software solution automating an agency’s annual close, consolidation and financial reporting process. • Develop, analyze, evaluate, and advise on methods and techniques to improve organization, work processes, procedures, information systems, documentation, and similar functions.
• Assist in the development of detailed recommendations regarding the application of functional requirements to the financial statement solution.
• Identify problems and develop recommendations, coordinating action with program team and the client.
• Develop and deliver training materials and training courses.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related degree.
• 10+ years of work experience in DoD Financial Management with at least 6 years of hands‑on experience in Air Force Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution and Financial Reporting.
• Demonstrated understanding of Federal Financial Accounting and Financial Management concepts, requirements, standards, and policies from U.S. Treasury, FASAB, OMB and OUSD Comptroller.

• Master of Business or equivalent degree.
• CPA, CGFM, or CDFM.
• Prior consulting experience with DoD or federal clients.

• U.S. Citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Frequently communicate with co‑workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
