The Associate Advisor plays an integral role in delivering a high-quality client experience by partnering with Advisors to support relationship management, financial planning, investment coordination, and client service initiatives. This individual serves as a central point of coordination across clients, advisors, and internal teams, helping ensure the successful execution of client strategies and projects.

The role offers meaningful exposure to investment management, financial planning, trust and estate concepts, charitable planning, and family office services, providing a strong foundation for long-term growth within the advisory profession. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and interested in developing into a lead advisory role over time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Partner with Advisors to support all aspects of the client relationship lifecycle, including prospecting, onboarding, relationship management, and ongoing service. Maintain client records, workflows, and documentation within the firm's CRM and technology systems.

Project Management & Operations: Coordinate client‑related projects across Advisory, Investment Operations, Financial Planning, Trading, Accounting, and Investment teams. Help ensure timely execution of client deliverables and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and the client experience.

Advisor Support: Assist Advisors in preparing meeting materials, portfolio reviews, financial planning analyses, and client presentations. Attend client meetings, prepare notes, and manage follow‑up items to completion.

Client & Advisor Coordination: Serve as a liaison between clients, Advisors, and outside professionals, including attorneys, accountants, trustees, and insurance advisors. Facilitate communication and information gathering to support client planning and decision‑making.

Planning & Wealth Management: Develop a working knowledge of asset allocation, portfolio construction, financial planning, trust and estate concepts, and charitable planning strategies. Support Advisors in identifying planning opportunities and implementing client recommendations.

Leadership & Team Development: Serve as a resource and mentor to Advisory Analysts by supporting training and development initiatives. Demonstrate leadership through collaboration, accountability, and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in wealth management, private banking, financial planning, or a related client‑facing role preferred.
  • Experience supporting high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients preferred.
  • Financial planning experience preferred.
Licenses
  • Series 65 (or equivalent registration) required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
