- Own financial and operational reporting, decision support, financial modeling, controllership, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver timely analysis, insightful guidance, and financial leadership.
- Lead variance analysis deep dives, present findings during business reviews, and balance structured financial processes with ad‑hoc projects.
- Identify and remediate controllership & risk management gaps, evaluate impact, and propose improvements.
- Deliver weekly/monthly financial close activities; leverage financial systems and advanced Excel to manage large data sets and produce plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
- Work with diverse data sources: identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and partner to resolve issues.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies (e.g., machine learning, generative AI, predictive analytics) to enhance financial analysis, automate repetitive tasks, and generate actionable insights.
- Use active listening and clear, concise communication (written and verbal) to articulate complex finance topics to various audiences.
- Identify and implement process‑improvement solutions, including AI‑driven options, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Prioritize tasks independently, meet deadlines, and seek feedback; discern urgent from nonurgent matters.
- Drive own professional development within the Finance community, sharing knowledge across teams.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment; mentor and role‑model for new team members.
- 2+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses.
- 2+ years creating process improvements with automation and analysis.
- 2+ years leading/executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardise or simplify finance or business tools and processes.
- 2+ years dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy.
- 2+ years contributing to cross‑functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, statistics or business, or a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of quantitative experience in engineering, process re‑engineering, or quality assurance.
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence.
- 2+ years participating in continuous‑improvement projects to scale and improve controllership with measurable results.
- MBA or CPA.
- Knowledge of Tableau.
- Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).

- USA, WA, Bellevue – $82,700.00 – $ annually
