Senior Manager, International Tax – In Office About the Opportunity

The organization is seeking a Senior Manager, International Tax to support global expansion through hands‑on involvement in international tax accounting, compliance, and strategic initiatives
. This is a high‑impact role suited for a technically strong tax professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
This is a fully in‑office role (Monday‑Friday) based in the Northern Virginia area.
Key Responsibilities International Tax Accounting & Reporting- Support quarterly and annual ASC 740 reporting for international entities
- Assist with international tax provision calculations and related reporting
- Maintain and reconcile international tax accounts
- Prepare and/or support international income tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
- Manage VAT and indirect tax filings (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Assist with statutory reporting requirements in foreign jurisdictions
- Support preparation and maintenance of transfer pricing documentation, including:
- Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR)
- Master and Local Files
- Ensure alignment with global transfer pricing policies
- Conduct research on international tax matters and emerging regulations
- Contribute to global tax planning initiatives and process improvements
- Partner closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate data for tax reporting and compliance
- Work with external advisors on global tax matters
- Assist with international tax audits, notices, and inquiries from tax authorities
- Support documentation and response coordination
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or related field preferred)
- 8+ years of total tax experience
- 4+ years in public accounting (Big 4 or similar)
- 3+ years in‑house international tax experience within a multinational organization
- Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and U.S. GAAP tax accounting
- Experience with international tax compliance and reporting
- Proficiency in tax research tools (e.g., RIA Checkpoint or similar)
Preferred:
- CPA designation
- Experience with One Source Tax Provision or similar systems
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)
- Strong technical expertise in international tax
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical capabilities
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- Hands‑on, self‑starter approach with a track record of ownership
