Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Wholistic financial management of a portfolio of ~1GW of thermal and utility‑scale renewable power plants in operations; includes monthly performance review, monthly forecasting of EBITDA and earnings, annual budgeting, identifying financial risk and opportunities, and working with asset management and operations leaders to optimize financial performance.
  • Support lender and tax equity relationship and reporting.

  • Ability to coordinate different projects cross‑functional and influence without direct authority.
  • Good communicator, able to tell business driver stories from the numbers.
  • Good analytical and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to zoom out and see the big picture.
  • Proven ability to produce high‑quality work and meet deadlines.
  • Experience moving multiple projects forward and juggling competing priorities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in preparing and coordinating budgets, forecasts, and related reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), including experience with financial reporting, forecasting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.
  • Ability to work effectively with accounting systems such as SAP, BPC, Anaplan or similar.
  • Experience building three‑statement financial models from scratch.
  • Experience with financial oversight for renewable power plants or thermal power plants (coal power plant experience is a plus).
  • Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, or a relevant field.

The expected salary for this position, at commencement of employment, is between $105,000 and $131,325 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes an annual bonus. The benefits offered for this position are: medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (including vacation, sick leave, and parental leave).

Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the employee will be in an "at‑will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
