Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end‑to‑end access lifecycle for AR financial systems — including provisioning, modification, periodic GRC review, and timely revocation of user access across OFA, CART, and Amazon AR financial systems.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for all banking relationships, managing day‑to‑day communication, escalations, and Accounts Receivable strategic engagement with financial institutions on behalf of Amazon.
  • Manage third‑party vendor relationships for banking‑related services, including check processing, lockbox file delivery, and payment file transmission, ensuring SLA adherence and timely issue resolution.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for bank account validation processes for new business launches and geographic expansions, ensuring accounts are properly established, tested, and compliant prior to go‑live across Amazon's global operations.
  • Partner with Fin Tech, PMO, and Treasury teams to support banking infrastructure changes, AR requirements for onboarding of new bank accounts to Amazon's financial systems (OFA, Amazon AR) for new product/SOR launches, and market expansions.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for bank account validation; own and maintain a comprehensive, accurate inventory of OFA and Amazon AR banking accounts across all lines of business, serving as the primary source for bank account ownership, structure, and status — leveraging Kyriba as the system of record.
  • Partner with FOAA (Financial Operations and Accounting), PMO, and Global Cash Application teams to ensure bank account data integrity across financial systems, resolution of bank account ownership disputes and co‑mingling issues across lines of business, establishing clear primary ownership and account governance frameworks.
  • Serve as the process‑level controller to support tax and legal compliance requirements related to AR operations, including unclaimed property reporting schedules, and audit response materials ensuring all activities adhere to applicable federal, state, and international regulations.
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies to strengthen internal controls, automate routine O2C processes, and improve operational efficiency across global accounts receivable operations.

  • 3+ years of controls/audit/compliance/SOX roles experience
  • 3+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision‑making experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
  • MBA, or CPA
