Associate, Equity Research Tech-Focus

Sands Capital is looking for a motivated Equity Research Associate with a focus on technology. In this role, you’ll assist in investment research and analysis, helping to evaluate new opportunities and maintain coverage of existing portfolio companies. This position offers a chance to work closely with experienced analysts and contribute to meaningful investment decisions.

• Help maintain coverage of portfolio companies and evaluate new tech investment opportunities.
• Build and update financial models to support investment decisions.
• Gather and analyze data to provide insights for research.
• Draft investment cases and research notes to communicate findings.
• Prepare for and contribute to meetings with portfolio managers and industry experts.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, investment banking, or consulting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data tools like Fact Set or Bloomberg.
• Mandarin Chinese skills are a plus.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.
