Job Description- Collaborate with Corporate Operations leadership to drive long-term strategic planning and financial decision-making.
- Prepare and manage annual operating and capital budgets, including labor, non-labor, capital, and equipment expenditures.
- Develop financial forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and multi-year basis for assigned departments.
- Monitor budget performance by comparing actual expenditures to forecasts, identifying variances, and recommending actions to maintain financial targets.
- Produce recurring financial reports and analyses to keep Corporate Operations leadership informed of budget and operational performance.
- Work closely with department managers to create detailed cost analyses that support budgeting and resource planning.
- Partner with business, procurement, and contracts teams to evaluate financial impacts, model agreements, and support contract negotiations and execution.
- Review purchase requisitions to verify appropriate funding, budget availability, and accurate accounting charge codes before approval.
- Identify financial risks and operational inefficiencies, recommend process enhancements, and implement approved corrective actions.
- Contribute to Corporate FP&A initiatives by providing financial insights, analysis, and project support.
- Assist with timekeeping oversight and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc financial analyses to support organizational priorities.
- Stay current on financial best practices, regulations, and industry trends through continuing education, professional development, and relevant publications.
- Act as the primary financial advisor to Corporate Operations leadership, providing guidance on budget performance, spending trends, and financial planning.
- 1+ years experience with One Stream
- Background in Cognos, Costpoint, Hyperion, or Tableau preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline required; MBA and professional certifications (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Familiarity with government contracting, including Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), is preferred.
