Workforce Planning Intern

This position focuses on deep‑dive analysis of headcount‑related spending, identifying cost drivers, and delivering clear, actionable variance insights versus budget and forecast. The workforce planning intern will partner closely with HR, Payroll, and Finance teams to ensure accuracy, transparency, and strategic value in workforce cost management.

• Review and analyze people‑related expenses, including salaries, benefits, bonuses, taxes, and other costs, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct in‑depth variance analyses comparing actual people costs to budgets and forecasts.
• Create and maintain reports on headcount, people cost, and people‑related metrics for leadership, supporting routine and ad‑hoc needs.
• Assist in budgeting and forecast analysis for people costs, tracking changes and ensuring data integrity for headcount projections.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Self‑starter attitude; resourceful, initiative‑driven, and able to manage through ambiguity positively.

The expected salary for this position is between $21.00 and $30.18 per hour. The total compensation package includes an annual bonus and benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off (vacation, sick leave, and parental leave). Salary and benefits may vary based on location and individual qualifications.
