FinancialManagement & Analysis
- Provide ongoing financial management support to Federal clients in accordance with applicable Federal financial management requirements and guidance.
- Support the quantitative development of business case documentation (for example, needs analyses and cost/benefit analyses).
- Prepare, review, and reconcile financial documents such as federal financial transaction data, reimbursable agreements, and grant related financial records.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose practical recommendations to enhance financial operations and controls.
- Develop clear, well-structured deliverables (presentations, reports, analyses, dashboards) that synthesize complex financial information into actionable insights and recommendations for clients, including visually appealing, high-level summaries of large financial datasets for various levels of stakeholders.
- Facilitate client meetings and working sessions to gather data, understand requirements, and validate findings.
- Communicate with client and internal stakeholders on project status, findings, and next steps, including explaining financial concepts to non-financial audiences and summarizing key takeaways from external and internal stakeholder meetings.
- Provide analysis and insight to managers and leadership to inform decision-making and project direction.
- Perform research and analysis to identify and obtain needed information, including applicable Federal regulations, policies, best practices, and public financial data sources such as USA Spending.gov to investigate financial transaction-level discrepancies.
- Address issues and problems that are generally defined and may involve multiple interrelated factors, applying sound judgment within established frameworks and guidance.
- Recommend changes to processes, tools, or documentation to solve problems and improve efficiency or compliance, including documenting current data analysis processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and iterating on data displays or communication methods to advance PMO goals.
- Work as part of a team or independently while taking ownership of assigned tasks and work streams, proactively brainstorming path-forward options and asking targeted questions when guidance is needed.
- Follow established methodologies, standard operating procedures, and quality standards.
- Assist on large to mid-sized, moderately complex projects or task orders, including coordinating specific activities or deliverables.
- Contribute to achieving project deadlines, quality expectations, and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with project team members, internal support functions, and client stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues.
- Share knowledge, lessons learned, and leading practices with the team to strengthen overall capability.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Due to contract requirements, US Citizenship is a must.
- Ability to obtain Public trust clearance.
- 3 - 5+ years of consulting experience, preferably supporting Federal clients in financial management–related engagements.
- Experience with Federal financial management, such as grants management, reimbursable agreements, procurement processes, or budget formulation and execution.
- Experience working with Federal agencies and familiarity with Federal financial management requirements.
