The right candidate will have 1+ year of accounting or finance experience, exposure to financial systems or reconciliations, and the ability to operate in a client-facing consulting environment. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Must be able to work a hybrid work schedule onsite in the Washington DC area. DESIRED
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- US Citizen
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field;
- 1+ year of accounting or finance experience (federal or commercial; internships accepted);
- Experience with general ledgers, financial statements, reconciliations, or audit support
- Understanding of financial systems and data validation processes
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify discrepancies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
- Exposure to tools such as SQL, Python, Power Platform, or similar technologies processes WHY OUR CLIENT?

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the Fund Balance with Treasury (FBwT) and Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC) work streams
- Support financial reporting, audit response, and remediation activities
- Perform reconciliations, data validation, and financial analysis
- Analyze financial datasets to improve accuracy and audit readiness
- Coordinate with government stakeholders to meet audit requirements
- Assist in preparing audit artifacts and supporting documentation
- Contribute to process improvements across financial operations
