The Program Analyst I will assist the U.S Marshals Service’s (USMS’s) Technical Operations Division, Special Deputations management, and other staff members in all activities and operations as assigned. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI).
Responsibilities- Interpret existing rules, regulations, and USMS policies
- Review applications for Special Deputations to ensure they are complete and correct.
- Analyze information to identify issues and isolate problems
- Prepare, edit, review, and analyze various types of written correspondence and documents to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Work in groups/teams on special projects to accomplish program goals
- Prepare correspondence related to program issues for higher-level signature
- Update automated records/database, as applicable
